About this house sitting position in Avalon Beach

Our home is a National Trust house with amazing ocean and district views near beautiful Whale Beach in a very private and quiet area surrounded by trees and wildlife. It has all the mod-cons including plumbed-in coffee machine and wifi.

We share our home with 2 happy cats and 2 friendly dogs (both dogs are large breed). Our animals are very much part of the family and whose welfare are our main concern when we travel.

You are a reliable, responsible, calm,active and caring sitter(s) who lives in Australia. You genuinely love and are comfortable with animals and will lavish attention on our furry companions. You do not have to walk the dogs, as we have professional walkers who will walk them each day, however you are someone who will care for them! You would ideally be someone who works from home or doesn't do long hours away from the house and must certainly commit to sleeping here every night. We would hope that you are someone who would enjoy what this home has to offer and relax here!

Our area is stunning all through the year and you can enjoy cafes, the beach and wonderful natural areas all within walking distance.

We would request that only experienced sitters apply and those who have looked after a number of animals previously.

The house is an unusual one with steep driveways, a large garden, stairs, rocks and only one bedroom and so it is NOT suitable for children of any age. You will also need to be able to climb stairs to enjoy the property.

We have learnt from past experience that we will also need to meet you in person in advance prior to the sit. This is not only so we can meet but for you to see whether you would be happy here too! This means we cannot accept applications from people living overseas or in other states unless we can meet you in person first ahead of time.
