About this house sitting position in Baddaginnie
I have a small, peaceful country cottage in North East Victoria. Easy access, 3km from the Hume FWY. The only requirement for the sitter would be to take care of my dog, Bella.
Bella is a beautiful 1.5 year old Border Collie. She is smaller than standard. She is friendly, well mannered and loving. I think she is pretty special... but lots of other people do too! She is allowed inside the house. She loves walks, fetch, swims, naps and just to be with you. She travels well in a vehicle but is also well behaved if she needs to be left alone in the house for a few hours. She is crate trained too (although I rarely use it).
My parents also live on the property, in a separate house so they will take care of the property (120 acres with horses & cattle). They will be available if you need assistance with Bella or anything in the cottage. They have a timid cat, Lotus, therefore Bella cannot stay with them while I am away (but if you need to head off for a few days they have it covered).
The cottage is simple, neat & liveable. It is quiet and a great place to unwind or focus. Queen sized bed, desk, oven/stove, toaster, kettle, slow cooker, rocket blender. There are beautiful birds and two creeks.
Telstra 4G phone service. Unsure of reception for other carriers. Wifi is available although intermittent occasionally. Full NBN available at my parent's house. There is an unused TV here. Not sure what is required for it to pick up signal - set top box maybe?
15km away is Benalla - a lovely rural town with all the conveniences including Coles, Woolworths, health food store, cafes, restaurants, a fantastic art gallery, a thriving artists hub & store (North East Artisans) and plenty of local history and nature to explore in the region. We are 180km (2 hours) to Melbourne. 45 mins to Wangaratta or Shepparton.

***There is another large room (same size as living room) that I have not photographed that could be utilised if you required it (prior arrangement would need to be made as currently used as storage room). Read more...
