About this house sitting position in Badger Creek

Samara Forest Garden is a 6 acre property in the Yarra Valley.. It is an organic permaculture urban mini-farm with an extensive ornamental garden. We have 9 goats (mainly miniatures), and a dog which will need to be fed daily. All the animals are very friendly! The accommodation is a one-bedroom cottage with it's own bathroom and kitchenette. There is reverse cycle airconditioning for heating and cooling and also a wood heater with ample supply of firewood. I am looking for a single person to house-sit for me, The sitter needs to feed the goats twice a day and rake out their enclosure every second day. The dog, Harry, a small, old, dachshund cross needs feeding daily. A couple of jobs in the garden but not much. I will be contactable by phone over the sitting period. I am looking for someone quiet, a non-smoker, who will keep the accommodation clean and tidy during their stay. The main thing is that the animals are well looked after. There's a couple of other little jobbies but not too much! Needing someone who is comfortable with goats. .... As for myself, I have been living here for over eleven years and spend most of my time in my garden and with my animals.
