About this house sitting position in BALLARAT EAST

I had a housesitter lined up but they've just decided not to do it. So I need a wonderful person to look after my house and old cat while I go away for a couple of months.

About you.
You are kind, caring, reliable and honest. You have an up to date police check and good references. Please don't apply if you don't have a current police check.

My house is spacious and comfortable. There is a big gas log fire which heats the kitchen/lounge/living area and panel heating in the bedrooms. Also has a split system in the lounge area if you prefer. Dishwasher, microwave, Smart TV. Washing machine (no drier but I have racks and a covered clothes line).
Your bedroom is spacious with comfortable queen sized bed, built in robe and plenty of cupboard space.

It's an easy walk to Bakery Hill shops (ten minutes tops) which has a Coles supermarket, bakery and bottle shop. You can walk to town in around 15 minutes and there is also a bus stop a five minute walk away. It's a very quiet area and the only noise at night is the odd possum using the roof as a freeway.

Chilli is a 12-14 year old rescue cat. Don't know her exact age but she is heading into elderly territory. She loves her food and cuddles on the couch. She also loves running water, drinking from the tap, the shower, the hose you name it, if there's water involved, she's there. She's in good health and is easy to care for and have around.

Your main task is to look after Chilli, collect the mail ( I don't get much these days) and look after the house, and water the pot plants if it's dry and mow the lawn. It's a very small lawn and takes but ten minutes with a cordless electric mower.

I don't currently have my NBN connected as I have been away most of winter but there is good mobile reception in the house.
