About this house sitting position in Bassendean

Beautiful large renovated open-plan character weatherboard home, close to river and parks, on quarter acre block with swimming pool, pond and gardens. Large bedroom upstairs for house-sitting guest/s with queen and single bed. Another smaller bedroom downstairs with double bed. 20 minutes to the city by car, and about 15 by train from nearby Bassendean station. A cul-de-sac street with very friendly neighbours. Wood fired heater to keep you and the dogs cosy. We have two beautiful friendly chocolate labs, both males, aged 6 and 3, Angus and Cooper, who are used to their daily run and swim close by at the river for about an hour. We are looking for a house-sitter/s who are very doggie-minded who would love and care for them, walk them daily, and feed them their usual two meals a day. Nothing much else to do except give them cuddles, pick up their poops, and water a few pot plants about once a week which are under cover and won't get the rain. I am happy to offer my car to transport the dogs to the river (about 1 kilometre away) each day, as they come back pretty wet after their swims! They love being in your company, so would prefer house-sitters who would spend a good portion of their daytime at home. My husband is retired and I work part-time. Read more...
