About this house sitting position in Bauple
I’m on acreage away from the township. The house is newly renovated. It’s 131 years old in the true tradition of a Queenslander. It’s single story. Wonderfully comfortable. The grounds are equally beautiful with many large trees. I have a black and white border collie cross, Jesso. She is very friendly and loves everyone. She gets frightened in storms and likes to come in under my bed.
There’s a peacock family with a male, 2 peahens and at the moment 5 chicks. I’m surrounded by farms with my own pocket of bush which surrounds the house yard so lots of wildlife come and go. It’s very secure property with 2 locked gates.
The wildlife here includes some pythons who have lived here for years.
I have a ride on mower and during the growing season some mowing will be required.

Jesso is such a good girl and likes to please, she has her rituals so I made sure I kept them up for her and she was happy and comfortable in my company.
Jayne is such a beautiful warm person and I enjoyed our conversations, she left good clear easy to follow instructions on care for both home and Jesso.
