About this house sitting position in Beecher
We require someone that is fully self contained in either a caravan or motor home, as no access to the home is preferred.
However, we have a large back verandah with lounge and table that you are welcome to utilise. You may use all amenities including the gas barbecue, and outside fridge/freezers situated on the verandah.
You may park your van/motorhome any where on the property in a shady position, or directly adjacent to the verandah, if you prefer.
We live on 3.5 acres ten minutes outside of Gladstone, Qld. On our farm we have 5 sheep & 5 chooks. The chooks must be fed daily and their pens need to be cleaned weekly.
As well, the house gardens and vege patch need to be watered, but most of this is under irrigation.
In addition, we have a small cleaning contract in town that must be done weekly. It involves a small group of shops that where we clean the staff toilets, and tidy the yard. One of the tenants gives us a garbage bin of vegetable scraps that we take home for the farm animals. This contract takes around and hour and a half, weekly. For this contract, we pay a small wage to the home sitter.
