About this house sitting position in Belmont

Hi there,

We are looking for a caring and responsible house sitter to care for our home and our dog while we are on holiday - exact dates to be confirmed, but it will likely be approximately 4 weeks in March/April 2020.

Our home is a beautiful, comfortable older home with a large garden area and some seasonal home grown fruit and vegetables. Our property is a smoke free zone.

Our biggest priority is that our house sitter/s genuinely loves dogs and will value spending time caring for our dog during the house sit. Our dog is a German Shepherd/Rottweiler rescue. She is a much loved member of our family and has a beautiful nature. She is very friendly, loves to nap, play and spend time with people. She is fully house trained, requires a 10 minute walk each morning and is fed twice a day. She also sleeps inside at night on her own bed. As she loves (and needs) the company and affection of people and is indoors with us when we are home, our house sitters would need to be happy to spend time with her in the evenings after work and over the weekends. Our house sitter needs to have experience with and be confident with large dogs. She must be kept on lead on her morning walk as she is strong, excitable and slightly anxious as she is learning how to walk on a lead a little late in life due to her being a rescue.

HOUSE TASKS:
To live in and respect our home and to keep it secure, clean and tidy throughout the house sit, water indoor plants, water the garden occasionally, collecting mail daily, bins out and in once per week.

We are seeking a house sitter who would treat our dog and our home as their own. We would require police check/s and to sight identification from prospective house sitters. References from previous house sits if available are preferred.
