About this house sitting position in Berrima
Our house is a 2 bedroom cottage built in 1834 in the historic village of Berrima in the NSW Southern Highlands. The house is modest, special, heritage listed, and on half an acre with a garden so watering is part of the gig. We have a 13yo Yorkie called Joey.
The house is triple brick and is very cool in summer. The Wingecarribee River is at the bottom of our garden. Our back porch is a perfect location for enjoying a morning cup of tea, an afternoon apero, daily bird visits (kookaburras, rosellas, parrots, galahs, ducks and more), or contemplating life. The house is opposite a park with a children's playground, a boule court and picnic tables.
Berrima is a friendly village of about 500 people and is a popular tourist destination with plenty of cafes. It's driving distance to Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong for grocery shopping.
The second bedroom will not be available during period as this is where we'll put our stuff
