About this house sitting position in Berwick

Our house is your average 12 year old, well maintained 4 bedroom house on an average suburban block... our animals are anything but average in our eyes .

The house is single level, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 living areas. House sitters will have access to wifi and all Foxtel. There is a bus service about 500m away and a train station about 3-4 kms (Pakenham Line, Beaconsfield or Berwick stations equal distance.

The only real garden maintenance is cleaning up after the dog... and even that will survive the week easily.

Our most important “feature” is the animals. Our dog will need the most attention : he’s a 6 year old medium-large sized staffi cross. He is energetic and very social. He thinks he’s a human child and we pretty much treat him as such. He needs a good walk every day- he is fairly strong- preferably 2 (can be short) if your schedule allows, and someone who doesn’t mind a snuggle from him as they watch TV, not taking their eyes off any food, and vigilant in keeping their shoes out of the pooches reach. He is crate trained at night.
We also have 2 cats: an older female cat who does her own thing plus a 6 month old kitten.

We are happy to have another dog stay as ours is super social but would like them to meet first. No cats but other small caged animals welcome. Read more...
