About this house sitting position in Brisbane

Hi... having planned Trip to Tasmania ( a driving holiday) we're looking for a non-smoking Housesitter /couple, for our home at Banyo. Ideally, you will be either working from home, working part-time, or retired. ( for security reasons ) .It's not long since our beautiful 19 yr old red Burmese cat passed away, so we don't have a Cat right now. (This might change before Feb 2020)... I adore cats, but we haven't decided when would be best to look for the right one.
HOME: Our unusual 1950's timber house ( well kept) has a renovated Kitchen & Bathroom, a Master bedroom & one Guest Room, L-shaped Lounge/Dining room, 2 home Offices, and a freshly painted Sunroom. There's a lovely private Courtyard to one side, with an electric BBQ on the patio table - also an ideal spot for "beer o'clock" :-) :-) haha.
LOCATION: Our place is only about 700 m from Banyo Train Station & the Woolworths shopping centre, and is just a short drive to Chermside & Toombul shopping centres. It's just a short drive to Nudgee Beach and about a 15 min. drive to the seaside at Sandgate., Redcliffe peninsula is a pleasant 25 min. drive from here.
EASY GARDENING: Do you enjoy pottering about in a garden ? Our home is on a. 607 sq.m block. We have a well-maintained yard with 2 lawn areas bordered by mostly easy-care Native plants, and a "feature" hill garden - (well, Sometimes it is a Feature ! ) .... In the courtyard we have hanging pot-plants which need watering daily but they give lovely blooms if kept happy :-) .
Banyo is a nice quiet area handy to bicycle tracks, and both the Nudgee & Virginia Golf Courses. Also, via the Gateway Motorway, it's an easy drive (10 mins ) to Brisbane AIRPORT, and a fairly easy drive to the Sunshine Coast. Read more...
