Update: Our appointed house sitter has had to cancel due to an emergency. Hoping there are still people available to house sit for us last minute!

Hi there! My husband and I are headed to Cairns in March. We'd love for someone to look after our beloved kitty and fish in beautiful Buderim while we're away.

Buderim is a gorgeous town nestled amongst the most beautiful forests and the famous Buderim Falls is just around the corner! It is a quiet little piece of paradise that is still very central to all the main attractions of the Sunshine Coast including access to beautiful beaches just a short drive away.

Our home is a beautiful, open-plan 2 storey home set against a lush, leafy backdrop. It is a large home with 2 beds (1 king with an ensuite and 1 queen bed) and two patios where you can watch the many parrots that grace the canopies.

Enjoy free high-speed WIFI, Netflix, our collection of interesting books and the lovely garden and pond, perfect spots to relax!

You will find the house and our particular location on the edge of a valley to be a lot cooler than surrounding areas. The fans as well as the valley breezes through the windows have been more than enough to keep us comfortable even on the hottest days.

We take great pride in making our home feel as homely and relaxed as possible and we are certain you will enjoy our little patch of paradise as much as we do!

Our Cat Huxley:
Huxley is a very sweet well-behaved 7 year old cat, who is shy but will warm up to you especially when food and pats are involved! Although he's not super affectionate, he enjoys having someone around and will likely request some pats and maybe even a brush (his favourite thing) if you feel so inclined.

House Sitter Tasks:
1. Looking after our cat Huxley.
2. Skimming off any fallen leaves in the pond every day or so.
