About this house sitting position in Bulahdelah

Seeking reliable, trustworthy, animal loving person/s to care for our pets, home and garden while we are away for a week late April.

You're welcome to arrive a day early if you wish. You'll be shown everything that needs to be done. We'll be leaving very early in the morning & return late afternoon.

We live in a lovely little town, in a valley, by the river surrounded by gorgeous lakes and beaches. The beautiful Myall River is just meters from our house. We have a kayak with trolley you can use to go exploring. If you're into hiking, you'll love Alum Mountain. The golf club is located just off the highway. There's many other activities like lawn bowls, tennis, and there's a public swimming pool close by which is open daily.

Our guest room is clean, spacious & has a comfy queen size bed. Your privacy is respected at all times, even if we are still home.
Our home has air conditioning, Wi-fi, Fetch TV, Stan & Netflix.

The IGA is open 7am-7pm daily and the BP is 24 hours. There are lots of popular cafes in town & the local pub has great food. There's also the bowling club & the golf club has a Chinese restaurant. The Lady Jane has nice pizzas.

About our pets:

We have 6 house bunnies in 2 enclosures (1 male, 2 females & 3 babies). Our Cashmere mini lop is very affectionate & loves attention! Everyone that meets our little Billy falls in love.
The baby bunnies were an unexpected surprise! We adopted their mum who we didn't know was expecting. So we went from 2 bunnies to 6 in a matter of days!
They take turns free ranging in the morning.
Daily cleaning of their area (sweeping & mopping), feeding (hay, pellets & fresh treats) water bottles refilled & litter trays cleaned if needed.

The guinea pigs are easy to care for. Daily feeding, water, and cuddles. A full cage clean may not be required while we're away but spot cleaning & replacing soiled bedding will.

The goats love attention and food. They are wary of strangers, but will warm to you quickly. They can read human facial expressions and are happy to see you smile.
They need daily feeding (hay, pellets & treats) water may need refilling, and are used to having playtime with us in the evening. They love pats, scratches and to see you potter around the garden or sitting outside in the big comfy chair reading a book.

The chooks need feeding & water & collecting of eggs. They are let out in the morning & locked up in the evening.

I'm more than happy to answer any questions & go through things carefully with whoever sits for us before we leave.

We appreciate little updates to put our minds at ease.

Not suitable for smokers, drug users, cats, dogs or young children.

We have room for a caravan, camper van or boat if needed.

If you are interested in sitting for us, please get in touch soon.

I'll reply asap.

We looking forward to hearing from you :)

Kind regards
Sabrina & Scott.

“If you love furry indoor friends, this is a great house sit for you! Sabrina and Scott have 8 rabbits set up in 5 enclosures in their home and 1 for 2 cute guinea pigs. Everything was left to care for them, and their set up for cleaning made it easy to do. The goats and chooks outside were happy to be fed and the garden was lovely. - Read more
