**2 Friendly Pooches Seek Pats & Ball Throwing While Mum's Away**

Note: I am currently planning this holiday part of which is to ascertain if I can find a suitable pet sitter. My departure date will be fixed however my return date will be between 20 and 27 January depending on final leave obtained from work.

I live on 3/4 acre (3000m2) with two very much loved mutts - a 5½ year old Kelpie x boy and an 8 year old Alsatian Rottie x girl. They are inside / outside dogs looking for someone to continue to pamper them and throw the ball while I go away on holidays. Both dogs are people friendly and focused.

My girl, while friendly, calm and affectionate, is a big dog at 43kg so comfort around and the ability to manage large dogs is imperative. I realise not everyone is a "big dog person".

My home is a 4 bed / 2 bath lowset brick home with a long north facing back verandah that captures the sun throughout the day. There is a lockable garage for your car plus plenty of off street parking for a caravan or boat.

I live in a cul de sac with great neighbours who are fellow dog lovers. Unfortunately their cats aren't a fan of my dogs so they can't stay with them while I'm on holidays ;)

The city is around a 40min drive down the highway and the beaches of Bribie are 20mins away heading north. The nearest train station is 7km with trains to the city running express all day and taking 42mins.

Housework wise, I'd only be seeking someone to collect the junk mail, vacuum, mop and keep the house tidied as required and water the pot plants. You are welcome to potter around the yard to your heart's content but it is not required or expected.
