About this house sitting position in Calliope
We are looking for (preferably) a couple to look after all aspects of the farm and animals for our time away. The fenced house yard contains a Border Collie/ Koolie cross that loves to go for a walk on a lead daily. There are also 6 productive chooks and 3 ducks. Our low set three bedroom brick veneer home with several sheds stands on approx. 43 acre fruit and vegies farm. The house is reliant on filtered rain water and septic system, and has a battery solar electricity system with mains electricity if required, council rubbish collection weekly and recyclable rubbish collected every other week. There is a shopping village within 5km of the property and Gladstone is about 25km away.
