About this house sitting position in CANTERBURY

Must Be reliable available during school holidays, New Year's, C Christmas, Australia Day weekend and full duration of the period.

Looking for Experienced person easy going who loves cats and is on the quiet side, a non smoker, non drinker, police check clearance and mature person to look after our 5 cats. They require feeding twice a day, morning and evening, fresh water daily and maintain cat litter trays. They each have their own personality, they like quiet company and some play time. Yes, there are two black and white cats. :-)

Two older cats are mainly outdoors during the day and three younger ones are indoor cats only. One had eye surgery and has recovered, the eye can get teary and needs wiping with a clean tissue and water, that's all. They are not familiar with children or having a number of people around, they get spooked. Person must be comfortable to not have guests around.

Routine will be written down for you.

Must be neat and tidy to look after house who is clean and hygeinic eg must weekly vacuum due to cat hair, wash litter trays, water bowls and food bowls regularly. Collect mail, do not open it, put bins out and water some plants. Food and litter will be supplied and local family contact member available to collect mail and assist with any questions and top up of food.

Given the 3 month duration of the stay, prefer someone who is willing to pay for utilities like electricity and gas. Read more...
