We have a house in Carrington. Carrington is known for its village feel and boasts many great cafes and dining spots. The locals are friendly and there are so many great places within walking distance. We are about 250m from the waterfront. It’s the most wonderful place to walk. Our neighbours are lovely and very supportive.
We have a brand new kitchen and bathroom and are working on the finishing touches (painting) of a large renovation.
We have what my friends like to call a "city farm". We have lots of pets but they are very organised. 3 dogs, rabbits and chickens. The dogs use a doggy door and are allowed to come and go as they please. All our animals have lovely warm personalities once they have met you and love cuddles more than anything. Actually they NEED cuddles.
We have a 4 year old dog who is shy and needs someone special to make him feel at home. We have an issue with him barking at the front door when people arrive. He barks because he is not sure if he is safe. He comes from a horrible puppy situation. Sometimes it is all 3 dogs barking together. Once you Make him feel safe he is the most loving snuggle bug around but he needs a calm assertive human leader to give him an introduction to a new visitor. This dog is special. He is incredibly loving and a very good boy who only plays with his toys. He actually brings you a toy from his box every time you return home. This is a house sit for an animal lover and better suited to someone who works part time half days or will be on holidays when they house sit. Full time work will not be suitable.
Our doggies absolutely love kids but we don’t feel comfortable having children around our dogs when we are not home to supervise. Read more...
