About this house sitting position in Chapman

We live 12 km from the Canberra CBD, minutes to hospitals, the National Arboretum, National Zoo and Aquarium, two major shopping centres and walking distance to our local shops.
The house is tri level (this means stairs ...made from tree logs), 5 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and powder room. Grand piano if you like to tinkle, Wood fire (must be proficient in managing), split system inverter heating as a back up. Garage space available if required

We own an adorable 4 yo Welsh Terrier called "Kipper". He has a beautiful temperament, loves cuddles, walks, and games, is a oichatterbox and loves to sing to music. He is an indoor pooch, well disciplined (obedience school) and loves visitors. He is not permitted to jump on furniture etc and knows this but will try his luck with new sitters:/ He sleeps and feels very secure in his oversized crate at night so you don't have to worry about him roaming around and disturbing you.
Home and pooch care instruction information is provided making life so much easier for newcomers to our home.

All we ask of our house sitter is to give Kipper regular exercise and attention, water garden plants as needed and most of all enjoy your time in Canberra. If you do not like pets in the home and intend shutting Kipper outdoors in the cold then please do not apply!

Our house is not set up to cater for children sorry (maybe one day when our first grandchild presents itself) or seniors with mobility issues.

Our preference is for retired, grey nomad Couples, or work from home Professionals who can be around for a good part of the day as Kipper is used to having regular company.
