About this house sitting position in Clunes
We live on a beautiful 3 and a half acre block in a renovated art deco farmhouse just outside the wonderful historic gold rush town of Clunes in Central Victoria.
We are minutes from town, but live on a beautiful private block with established gardens with an old orchard, established deciduous and 100 year old cypress trees. We are surrounded by open farmland with stunning views as far as the eye can see yet are walking distance to Clunes, 20 minutes from Ballarat and 30 minutes from Daylesford.
The house and garden are very low maintenance at this time if year, really the only work to do is to water the indoor plants.
We have a beautiful 4yo golden retriever, 2 friendly rescue cats and around 20 chooks.
Willow loves to go for daily walks and other than that all that she and the cats ask for is a feed and your company.
The chooks will reward feeding with eggs everyday.
This Central Goldfields region of Victoria is a wonderful place to explore, with beautiful walks and drives and do many things to do. Ballarat is close by as is the Pyrenees wine region and the spa country of Daylesford/Hepburn.
Clunes is a stunning town with an intact gold rush streetscape, bakery, coffee shops, library, pub and supermarket. It also has a railway station with trains connecting to Ballarat and Melbourne daily.
It is a beautiful restful place where you have the opportunity to do as much or little as you want.
