About this house sitting position in Coffs Harbour

We live on a 900 sq m block on a hill in Coffs Harbour NSW (over the hill from the big banana on the coffs side). We have two spare rooms and one shared bathroom. It is a lovely house and spot and we are looking for house and dog sitters for two weeks while we visit friends in Tasmania in July 2019. We are a five to ten minute drive from the jetty area estuary and beaches, forty minutes on foot.
Our hound Tad is about 15 yrs old, getting sore in the back legs, he needs two walks a day which can be small (around the block where there is a reserve) and he also loves a run on the beach which would require driving him there. (This is optional). He is very friendly, makes friends wherever he goes; loves attention and sheds hair! We have a vegie garden which could do with some tlc and a front and back lawn, so help with gardening is much appreciated.
Would be a perfect stay for those wanting a break with easy access to the beaches - it has been rather cold lately but it's probably colder in Tasmania!.
Our house is very restful. We would appreciate meeting sitters for a night or two before we leave, and are open to some overlap and sharing for a few nights either end if desired and it works out that way. Recommendations/references a must.
If you are campervaners, note that you can't drive a van into our garage or through our garage to the back of our property, so any van would have to be on a small horizontal apron in the front of the house/entrance to our double garage, or on the street in front of our house.
Also, we would require house sitters to live in the house and be with our dog (not be in their van). Having said that, we are on a wide street and our location at the top of our hill is a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Read more...
