About this house sitting position in Coolum Beach
I have a 13+ year old retriever X who is still fit but is now slowing down. Her sight and hearing aren't what they used to be but she still delights in a couple of strolls each day down at the beach where she generally has a lot to "say" and happily greets anyone who will give her a pat.
She's an inside dog and needs company during the day as she frets if left alone too long. Storms, fireworks or loud unexpected noises used to send her into a panic but I think the deterioration in her hearing has at least one positive as she no longer seems to become so distressed. She hasn't got a mean bone in her body and is very gentle.
Her diet is very specific as I endeavour to maintain her good health and I would ask you to follow her regime quite strictly.
My home is a small fibro cottage with one bedroom, on a standard suburban block. Very basic, nothing fancy. Fenced. Garden may need watering, a bit of weeding and maybe mowing. A few house plants and patio plants to water.
BUT...walking distance to the beach, and a 5 minute drive to the dog beach.
