About this house sitting position in Coutts Crossing

20 Acres - fully fenced property with modern home with native and cottage garden. Require a couple to do chores twice daily. We have sheep - 4 ewes, 1 ram and 6 lambs; 15 ducks/drakes; 13 chooks, 1 guinea hen; and a cat. The sheep are released from pen enclosure early each morning along with ducks from their enclosure. All are fed each morning and given fresh water (i.e. buckets/troughs). Chickens are let out each afternoon (approx. 1 hour before sunset). All are fed again each evening as they are penned (except chooks as they may have enough left from morning feed). Sheep are easily led into shed with bucket of sheep nuts each evening and locked up. Cat is fed early morning(1 level scoop of dry food) and a change of water in bowl on back deck, then he's fed again around 4.30pm(again 1 level scoop of dry food). A little more assistance is required for one special duck (she has slight disability -right foot) so she is carried into her sleeping area each night and assisted to come out in the morning and fed. She can manage to do this herself at times, though we assist her as much as possible and with organising small water dishes to be near her at all times in garden. Read more...
