About this house sitting position in Currency Creek
We live on a 33 acre hobby farm on the Fleurieu Peninsula at Currency Creek which is close to Middleton/Goolwa & Victor Harbor. There are great surfing/swimming beaches, walking trails, golf courses, cafes, wineries and restaurants in close proximity. Also the perfect place for whale watching. We have 2 dogs, Blaze is 6 & Shammy 13. There are also 2 ducks, a small flock of sheep and 4 horses, 3 of which are in there mid 20s. We have a comfortable 3 bedroom home with an easy care garden over looking the Coorong & lakes. We are looking for house/pet sitters, preferably a couple, who love dogs and are experienced and confident around horses with some knowledge of horse health. The thoroughbred may need to be rugged depending on the weather. He has a hard feed twice per day to keep weight on. The other three (an Appy & 2 mini ponies) are good doers but prone to Laminitis so may need to be restricted from eating too much green grass. They are all gentle souls. If you feel confident that you can handle this we would love to hear from you. We depart on the 26th March 2020 returning 16 April 2020. If we could meet a day earlier so we can go thru the routine with you that would be great.
