About this house sitting position in CURRIMUNDI

We are looking for an honest, reliable and caring house sitter to take care of our home and our cat while we are away in July / August.
We have a 4 bedroom lowest brick and tile home in a quiet culdesac in Currimundi. Our little street has direct access onto the Currimundi Creek where you can take the bike path that leads all the way to the surf beach, about 2km from our place. The Currimundi lake is right there next to the beach, it is a big ocean fed lake that goes in and out on the tide, great for swimming or paddle boarding, with 2 cafes alongside. There is a Woollies and Aldi nearby, FIVE pizza shops in close proximity and all the other general shops and taverns you would expect only a short drive away. It takes just over an hour to drive into Brisbane city (with no traffic), 30 minutes to Maleney and the hinterland, or you can get to Noosa in about 45 minutes.
We have a gorgeous little 5 yr old cat called Bernie, she is a Burmese and is super affectionate but also naughty and playful; she is the mistress of our household! She thinks she is a dog and loves to chase the toys we throw for her, but she never brings them back :) She will greet you at the door and demand cuddles, will curl up in your lap while you relax on the lounge, and insist that she keep you warm at night in bed. We'd prefer to welcome a house sitter who is able to spend most nights at home to keep Bernie company in our absence.
We also have a few pot plants that would like to be watered, and taking care of our fully fenced hot tub is super easy - just needs a dose of chemicals (non-chlorine based) twice per week. We often have a fire going in the brazier to make getting out of the spa a little easier during the winter months :)
