About this house sitting position in GLEN INNES
We are looking for a friend to share house with Ms Tilly for this time. We live on the New England Tablelands in a lowset house on flat ground. Ms Tilly needs to be fed morning and night and with her own doors is allowed to be outdoors of a day but definitely inside of a night so has the run of the house and yard daily. She needs a friend who likes cats and can chat to her as she requires. Two feeds daily and a brush sometimes is required.
There are plenty of National Parks within 30 to 50kms and the famous Australian Standing Stones are here. The Village of Deepwater is on the main New England Highway has a servo, supermarket, bakery, antiques shop, ice cream shop, Post Office, couple of churches, couple of pubs, golf course, tennis courts, a Brewery and the river to enjoy. We are 70kms from the Queensland border, an easy day trip. The house has all the usual facilities including gas top cooking, electric oven, ceiling fans, TV, no microwave, and is comfortable with a wood burning stove and heaters, as required. There is back outdoor seating area and it's generally a quiet environment.
