About this house sitting position in Doubleview

Our home is in a small three bedroom house with a small courtyard with garden in the back and a small front yard with grass, although my dog makes a great effort to turn the grass into sand. Most of the garden and grass is watered via a retic, but there are a few pot plants that will require watering by hand. We have a "few" indoor plants that also need watering infrequently.

We also have two lovely pets, a cat (ash) and a dog (spud). Our cat is very self sufficient, just needs food and water and a little bit of love. The dog also needs food and water but prefers more love. Also he doesn't like other dogs too much (American staffie), so best to keep him on leash when walking him. Also as Nick Cody once said "a staffie is like a tornado made of bricks" so being confident with dogs is preferable. But trust me he's a good boy and at home all he likes to do is sleep and be around you.

Out side of the watering and pets, just generally keeping the place tidy and collecting the mail is all that is required. Honestly if the house doesn't look like our dog has been chewing on it for the past month we'll be pretty happy.

Just fyi, we do have a car port and garage, but the garage has a low clearance and the car port is a little small, so if you have a large caravan, it might not fit. Read more...
