About this house sitting position in Downer

We are looking for someone to housesit for 19 December-16 January, or thereabouts, while we take a christmas-new year holiday. The house is 10 minutes walk to Dickson swimming pool & shopping centre, with a hammock in the spacious backyard. We have two chickens who ideally are let out each morning and locked away each night, although they can be left to roam their coop if you want a weekend away. They are not prolific but you should get an egg every day or so. The lawn and a few plants would also benefit from watering about once a week (most things are on an automatic watering system though). There are a few veggies to pick & eat. Unfortunately it looks like the possum has eaten the strawberries!

If you have a caravan, we should be able to make space for it out the front of the house or by shuffling our cars up the driveway.

We have an eighteen-month-old so there are toys and books suitable for tiny tots (as well as plenty of books for you!)

Please note we don’t have a TV (although with internet you can tune in to iview on a laptop / tablet).
