About this house sitting position in Downer

I rent a two bedroom home in Downer which has a veggie patch out the back, yard and two dogs.
I'm going away over Christmas this year and would like someone to come and stay and look after my two, larger-side-of-medium dogs. They are both well trained and very much 'pets' who will love you intensely.
They will require a walk 5 days of a 7-day week and as they have long coats you might need to keep an eye on how many bindis are collected and ensuring they are walked during the cooler parts of the day.
Both are de-sexed, one is an 8 year old female rough collie and the other a 7 year old male golden retriever cross border collie. They are well behaved and walk well on lead :). The dogs are used to being left for 8 hours of a day - 5 days a week, so there's no need to hang around home if you're out and about (although they do love to 'hang' if you have some lazier days around home).
The ANU is 7kms away from my place, the ACU is across the road and the UC is no far away either. Civic, the city's centre is about 5km away, buses everywhere! If you have a car there is of course all the hiking to be done in the National Parks near by. Plus the National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, War Memorial and more.
Nice King sized bed available for your stay, possible to set up another bed in second room if needed. (200GB) WiFi, Netflix, (new 'SNES' mini!!) and DvD player for you to use. We have an aircon unit, but it's an old house so mastery of drawing curtains to block out heat during the day and opening up the house in the evenings (Canberra usually cools down to wonderful temps at night in summer) is needed.
