About this house sitting position in Durham Lead

Our home is 20 minutes out of Ballarat and 5 minutes from the nice little town of Buninyong.

We have 2 Dogs, one small named Jax and one medium named Gunner (a.k.a Gummy). We also have a couple of chickens. Our dogs sleep in the lounge room over night and have a space outside to be locked in when leaving the property.

We live on 5 acres, my favourite part is the deck where I have a comfortable day bed.
We have a wood fire for winter and split system.

We also love fishing in the dam, feel free to eat the Red Fin, though if you catch trout please release them back into the water.

Sometimes we have a veggie patch (depending on water supplies) which will need watering daily and you can help yourself to the yields.
I have indoor and outdoor plants that need different water requirements, though I'll write it down for you (there are a couple that will need water every 3 days and the others are once a week)

Your soundtracks are Banjo frogs putting you to sleep in Spring and Kookaburras all year round. We get Kangaroo visitors almost daily (so yes there is kangaroo poo on the hill) also in spring and Autumn we often get echidnas!

If you love nature this is a great holiday spot, there is bushland all around us. 2 Minutes to the Yarrowee River, you can pan for gold or go eeling. There are SO MANY bush walks within a 30 minute drive. We have many nature and identifying books.

Our home is only on tank water, so in Summer it's important to be water wise.

We have all you need for a comfortable home.
Please note we do have stairs. It is a bi-level house, so has 3 different levels. Ground level is the man cave and garage, 1st floor is lounge, living and kitchen and 2nd floor is bathroom and 3 bedrooms.
