About this house sitting position in Elsternwick
I am Sue and I will be travelling with my sister to Italy and UK on Wednesday 27th May 2020 returning home on Tuesday 30th June 2020.
My four-legged family comprises an 11-year-old male Cairn Terrier named Dougal and Toby my 16-year-old cat. My pets are fed twice a day and Dougal likes to be walked once a day but he is always amenable to extra walks! Dougal is very much an indoor dog but there is a dog/cat flap so both he and Toby have access to the garden when nature calls. I would prefer to have someone who was retired to look after them as they are used to having company throughout the day.
Elsternwick is an inner suburb being approximately 9 km from Melbourne city centre and 3 km from the beach. The house is within walking distance of a large Coles supermarket, restaurants and cafes as well as a cinema, banks, bakeries, pharmacies, etc. Access to the Melbourne city centre is easy, either by bus or tram from the end of our street or a short walk to the local train station. There is a public golf course approximately 2 km.
My home is a large renovated three bedroom/three bathroom Edwardian solid brick home. There is gas-ducted central heating and air-conditioners as well as two wood gas fires. There is internet access, TV, DVD and Netflix. There is artificial grass so there would not be any mowing required. I would appreciate the fernery being watered every 3rd day and the rest of the garden if there hasn’t been any rain for a while.
Being rather houseproud I am really looking for someone who would appreciate being in my home and willing to look after it and leave it in the condition they found it when they moved in.
