About this house sitting position in Emerald

Hello, we are seeking a reliable and honest house sitter and pet minder for 5 weeks. We have a lovely 4x2 home located in Emerald. With 2 dogs & 2 macaws.

We are needed in Perth in November and will be driving across rather then flying.
So we are looking to be away for 5 weeks. All of November we just haven't decided if the 5th week will be first week of December or last week of October yet.

We have 2 dogs and 2 macaws that we would be leaving at home. We are putting feelers out now as I want it booked in advance so I don't need to worry about them or stress about it last minute ???? my main concern is our birds as we can always make other arrangements for the dogs.

Our female dog is the most well behaved dog you'll come across and will cause you no hassle. our male dog however is an escape artist. He is inside or on a chain outside. We have colourbond fencing which does contain him unless he's left unsupervised long enough to dig under it. he just can't be left unsupervised in the yard unless he's on a chain. If your in the yard he's totally fine. It's just when no ones around. So basically it's just have him inside. On the chain. Or supervise him whilst he's playing in the yard and you'll have no dramas.

We have our two macaws. They have a large aviary outside and a large indoor cage. They do require a lot of interaction and attention. They sleep inside at night. They do spend a lot of time in the aviary during the day. There is no set routine for how long in the aviary it all just depends on the weather. If it's a really hot day il only let them out for a couple of hours in the morning and a late in the evening.

The house basically has wifi, Foxtel/Netflix, air con etc. Read more...
