About this house sitting position in Ferndale

We have 2 Labrador Retrievers who are inside dogs. They need around 30-40 minutes walk a day (preferably first thing in the morning) and we usually play with them in the garden in the evenings. We have a doggy door to the side of the house for them to go potty when they need to.

The dogs are used to being left alone in the house during working hours, but you have to tidy up any remotes/socks/other things or our boy (Summer) might try and chew them.

They are both generally well behaved and love people, but are not the best walkers and tend to pull, so you need to be able to hold them. The girl (Nymeria) is picky with other dogs so we generally keep her away from dogs on the walk or she can bark and get agitated.

Our home is a single story, with a front and back garden. We have automated sprinklers so there's not many housekeeping tasks a sitter would need to do.

We have a pool which any sitters are welcome to use, it doesn't need much maintenance either.

We have a large driveway and garage, half of the driveway is behind a gate we generally keep closed, but you can also leave cars outside it.

Last thing - our dogs are our babies and get pampered but return it with endless love and affection. We'd like someone who is ok with spending time with them in the mornings and evenings so they don't feel lonely. Read more...
