About this house sitting position in Frankston South

Re-advertised as the sitter we had arranged has had to cancel due to a family emergency. Given the short timeframe until the housesit commence, potential sitters would be ideally available for an interview this weekend (14th/15th December). In addition, given the late notice and urgent need to find a sitter, a small honorarium will be offered to the right candidate.

Sitters with experience preferred; verifiable references essential.

A fantastic opportunity to enjoy the Mornington Peninsula over the Christmas/New Year period.

Our home is a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house in a very quiet court in Frankston South. One bedroom is set up as an office. The kitchen and family bathroom have been recently renovated to a very high standard. There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms , and air conditioning in the living room. Unlimited wireless broadband (Optus NBN) available for use. We also have Stan, Netflix and Optus Sport. Near to public transport (bus) and 5 minutes (drive) to Frankston train station. Only 5 minutes drive to Frankston beach, and close to all the Mornington Peninsula has to offer. Off street parking available.

We have two cats (both rescue). The younger is very friendly. The older (mum of the younger) is a bit trickier - stand-offish and a fussy eater. The two cats don't always get along and need to be fed separately. We also have 6 fish in an outdoor pond that need to be fed every second day, and the garden would require some watering (at least twice a week).

No children please, as the older cat is not really suited to children she does not know. The ideal sitter(s) will have the time available to look after the garden, which is very important to us, and to be prepared to feed the cats one a time (which can be time consuming). The sitter(s) will also need to be prepared to do some simple cleaning tasks on the fish pond once a week or so. Read more...
