About this house sitting position in Geraldton

Hi - we have finally set in stone our dates for next year. We depart Perth 18th August and return 8th October, so will be needing house sitting from approx 12th August (a few days earlier than departure to get our cats used to you) until probably 10th October (a day or two to de-stress in Perth following our flight home. So if these dates fit in with your availability, please let me know so that I can make a final decision on whom will be looking after our place. The house is a three bedroom older house with enclosed yard for two cats. Minders must be cat lovers, one cat very bossy and the other very timid (read extremely). We will be away for two months and wish our cats to be cared for whilst we are away.
Our cats are my main priority, as they live in/out of the house with their own fully enclosed yard. So no access to the "real" world, saves on vet bills and them disappearing. I do "walk" them on leads, so a few days to get used to this before we leave is a must, so they can gain your trust. One is very timid and you may think she is a figment of your imagination, hence my concern on getting the right people to care for her.
Our yard is small, garden is minimum, but the house is on our business property (it will be non operational whilst we are away, but needs to have someone keep an eye on the premises). A bit of "gardening" in the cat enclosure would be great, should you find yourselves with time on your hands.
Geraldton is a coastal/country town. There are things to look at and do in the area, so suited to someone who has perhaps an online occupation to keep them busy whilst they are here. Otherwise just relax and enjoy the break.

We will be overseas during the sit, but there will be people/friends available should anything crop up. There is ample parking for your own vans if you need, but dogs are not appropriate. Read more...
