About this house sitting position in Goombungee, Qld

We are wanting to take off with our van over the next few months for a couple of different periods, the dates for which are as yet undecided. Ideally we are hoping to get away for a couple of weeks in early February, and then again for a couple of months from early March. Willing to try and work in with other sits you may have. If you have your own van or motorhome, there's plenty of room to park, though you are welcome to stay in our home if you wish. We're looking for a couple with experience to sit our kelpie, home, pot plants and garden on our 40 acre lifestyle property. Would prefer someone familiar with pumps, bores, generators etc as we rely on tank and bore water.
Your temporary home is a very comfortable 3 bed 2 bath brick house, with fans, reverse cycle air and a wood heater as well. Our dog is self exercising, though he does love to chase the ball but doesn't always bring it back! He is an outdoor dog, except for thunderstorms.
We are located 30 minutes drive from the lovely inland city of Toowoomba, 5 minutes from the small town of Goombungee which has Dr, pharmacy, general store, cafes, post office, & hotel, and 2 hours from Brisbane. Read more...
