About this house sitting position in Greenbank

We will be spending a few weeks overseas in 2018. We live on a one acre block in an area called Spring Mountain Estate in Greenbank. We have 2 large dogs, both sooks and a marine tank. Our neighbour's dog is totally in love with our wolfhound cross, Piper, and is a daily visitor, and sometimes stays over. We are ideally looking for someone/s who are homebodies and would spend the majority of the time at home. People who are comfortable with dogs sharing the couch with them, and who have experience keeping fish, ideally marine. (I am hoping to be able to shut my marine tank down and find new homes for my critters before we leave, but please be aware the tank may still be running). The garden is not a massive issue, ride on mower for the lawn if it gets a bit out of control. Any keen gardeners welcome to potter if they like. There is a train station about 10-15 Km's away, and a local shopping centre with Woolies and the vet 5km up the road. Major shopping centre about 10km away. The house is supplied by tanks, savvy person to understand pumps and how to switch over if necessary. The fish will need daily feeding, water changes once a week. Ted, our other dog, a boxer bitser got attacked by two strange dogs a couple of years ago and remains a bit antsy around strange dogs, so I would prefer no applications from homeminders with pets.
The area is quiet and peaceful, a great opportunity for someone who is really after a quiet, relaxing time. Read more...
