About this house sitting position in Hackett

We would be really pleased if someone could mind our house and occasionally look after our 7yr old groodle, Megs while we travel for 6-7 weeks in Australia.

If you like walks and enjoying the outdoors, you will enjoy staying at our place. Our backyard backs onto a Nature Reserve in North Canberra. Your daily bush walk will start at the back gate. Its a bit cool in Canberra in winter, however the one bedroom flat attached to our house has very good heating (including a gas fire), loads of storage and all the amenities you might need.

Megs our very friendly dog will be cared for by the (very friendly) neighbours for most of the time. It would be great if you could look after her while they go away for the occasional visit to Sydney.

The garden is very low maintenance and wont need much attention except the watering possibly once a week.

The suburb we live in is quiet, and a short walk away there are some shops with a cafe/ restaurant, hairdresser, IGA, bike shop and florist.
