About this house sitting position in Highgate Hill
House & Pet Sitter Wanted – Inner City Brisbane Queenslander (Christmas Period)
We’re a friendly family with two kids (11 & 14) and a much loved 5 year old Belgian Shepherd, Zelda. We’ll be away over the Christmas period and are looking for a reliable, kind house sitter to care for her and the house & garden while we’re away.
Our home is a classic Queenslander in a lovely, quiet, and very central neighbourhood - close to everything, walking distance to South Bank!
It’s comfortable and breezy, with air conditioning in the bedrooms, a shady verandah, and a relaxing back deck that catches the afternoon breeze. You can watch the New Years Eve fireworks from the verandah.
What’s involved:
*Caring for Zelda, our loyal and affectionate shepherd with companionship and daily walks.
*She’s intelligent and gentle once she knows you, but takes a little time to warm up, so we’d love someone who can visit a couple of times before the stay to get acquainted.
*Feeding the fish (fishbowl)
* Watering the garden and keeping an eye on the house.
We usually take Zelda on our family holidays, we’ll need someone special to stay with her - someone calm and dog-savvy.
