About this house sitting position in Judbury

We live on a small farm in Judbury which is in Tasmanias beautiful Huon Valley. We are 15 minutes drive to the local shops in Huonville which have everything you need so you must have a car. It's 40mins drive to Hobart as well as vibrant Cygnet and local beaches or drive 1 hour to Hasting Caves Thermal pool.
On our farm that we live on with our young children who are homeschooled we have a extensive garden where we grow a lot of our own food while some of this is irrigated some may need watering every few days. Gardens are in locked areas and MUST be shut as the possums here will destroy everything!!!

We require someone who is fit and healthy and a animal lover as we have to take care of
Rabbits 2 male - 1 female all separate cages daily watering and feeding. Every second day poo emptied into compost
2 old cats - Fed twice daily locked in after 5pm evening feed to protect wildlife
1 medium sized dog fed twice daily played with , given cuddles inside at night. She has a special collar and fence to stop her escaping because she loves adventuring through the bush!
1 pregnant dairy cow - Water checked , fed hay occasionally
Chickens we have over 20 hens in two separate areas the silky chickens are in one area daily water checked and fed eggs collected

Main egg laying flock watered and fed daily eggs collected let out in the morning put in at night. ( You are welcome to eat eggs!)

We also keep bees and have 5 in the same yard as the silky chickens so if you are highly allergic it may not be the house sit for you.

The house itself has three bedrooms , a lounge room , kitchen, fireplace, large deck with views over the valley. Read more...
