About this house sitting position in Kaleen

Three animal cuties and their home require a single person; afraid there is only a single bed, who is observant of animal behaviour. Mr Smiley Bushy Brows is a very old middle sized dog with the sweetest most placid nature. He is deaf, although you’d rarely know and arthritic in his rear end requiring medication and perhaps a local vet trip. He still loves a gallop on the lawn and a walk.

Miss Pretty Furry is a middle aged cat who loves her dog and a lap. She is an inside/outside cat who always sleeps inside as does the dog.

Mr ChatnPat is a galah who loves company. He lives on the verandah beyond the family room and enjoys exchanging whistles and meaningless chats with his human as she moves through the house or works in the kitchen or yard. His joy is to be wheeled inside to rest beside her chair during the evening where he chats, preens, eats, sleeps, hangs around and generally enjoys being part of a “flock”. His need for company means it is preferable that a person without full time work commitments minds them; unless you work from home, of course. His cage will require cleaning, but it is easy.

The yard should not require much effort apart from lawn mowing with a battery powered mower and maybe collection of dropped deciduous leaves from one tree. If you want more to do in the garden or a challenge it can be arranged. The guava tree fruit should ripen before my return. Fruit falls when ripe and I make it into jam and also stew it for the freezer. If that isn’t your thing you could eat it, share it or feed the worms in my compost bins and worm farm.

The house is 3 bed detached suburban home in a quiet street near many walkways, green areas and ovals. There is good off street parking. Gas heating vents from the ceiling in each room. Shopping centres are within walking distance. Bus stops are very close. A number of very large shopping areas and numerous tourist and other attractions are within short drives.
