About this house sitting position in Kayena
FOR 2020 ..... 7 acres with a 2 bedroomed house . Private location 500m from main road up a gated gravel road. There is a veggie patch , chook shed , 2 alpacas , turkeys and chickens that free range but require feeding once a day . There are some sheep at the moment, but whether or not they stay is to be decided on before we leave. We would like a mature couple to look after the place and feed the animals, preferably with some experience of this sort of thing. We don’t allow dogs here for obvious reasons and require non smokers only . we realize this is very early to plan but researching the possibilities .we were recommended to this site by another country local who had nothing but praise for their arrangements (house, animals etc).thanks for considering this.
Ps. One important thing to note especially for “mainlanders” is this rustic house is heated almost purely by log fire I will endeavour to prepare enough chopped timber as this will be winter time .if you like the heat please don’t apply as tasmania is reserved for hardy souls at this time of year.That being said we love it here all year round.
