Property and surrounds description.

Our home is located on a 1 acre block in the semi-rural area of the Townsville suburb of Kelso. You will wake up to the sounds of native bird life each morning in a fully fenced pet friendly yard. The property has a swimming pool and spa.

November/December is the ideal time to visit the Townsville region, with temperatures ranging from an overnight of 22 degrees Celsius to an average day temperature of 30 degrees Celsius.


What responsibilities are required of you?

We are seeking honest house sitters with a self-contained caravan/motorhome to look after the external areas of our home.

Maintenance of the external areas of our home will include watering gardens and lawns using the in ground water systems, mowing the house yard (ride on mower provided), and pool maintenance.

You will not be required to live in, or maintain, the internal areas of our home during your stay.

What are the good features of the property and location?

The property is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a small rural country estate and within short driving distance to a major grocery shopping outlet, small bakery, Doctors and Pharmacy and the local country RSL club. Travelling 16 mins by car will see you at a major shopping, restaurant and cinema precinct.

It is the best of both worlds!

The property is easily accessible for caravans/motorhomes with space to park both a caravan and car, power and water is available for connection to your caravan, with a council operated dump point located 2.5km from the property.
The property features a swimming pool and spa, wide veranda surrounding the house and backs onto rural bushland on 2 sides. Features of the veranda, that are available for use, include comfortable chairs to relax in, a Bar-be-que, and 6 seater outdoor setting.

Sitting in the pergola of the swimming pool area watching the sunset over Hervey Range is one of the many pleasures of this property.
