“convenient position but Melbourne is extremely cold - stoking fires is difficult and thick smoke makes clothes smell which is difficult to separate when travelling with limited washing facilities. Making a cup of tea without electricity shorting was not as stressful as having to hand-feed three dogs and not enough dog food was left. On arrival I cleaned the dog poo off the garden-hoses that were left in the driveway. I washed floors because dogs urinated over night. I walked the dogs twice a day. The house was so cold I slept fully clothed. I was unable to work any cooking facilities and a dirty pan was left on the stove top upon my arrival. Overall, I was disappointed.
When I departed, I left flowers out, cleaned dog dishes, left everything tidy, plus cleaned toilets, floors and made bed, left heater on in the lounge area for comfort. ” - Read more
