About this house sitting position in Kewarra Beach
I have a small 4 bedroom home with a pool and gym in one of the spare rooms.
The beach is a 10 minute stroll down the road, which local shops less than 5 minutes away. Trendy trinity beach and palm cove are also very short drives away.
Perfect base to explore cairns, port Douglas and the Atherton tablelands.
I have 3 dogs, 2 x Shiba inus (Yuki and Pickles), 1 x Akita - Saki; 2 frogs, 3 geckos and a snake.
Saki (she's a rescue) can be a handful to walk - and requires someone confident with handling large dogs. She has a strong prey drive, which you need to understand how to handle. My 72 year old dad is able to walk her easily, but she isn't suitable for someone scared of large dogs. She's an absolute sook around the house.
Also required to look after pool and make sure it doesn’t turn green. Full instructions provided on the fridge.

Karen was great to communicate with. Karen’s home paints a deep picture of her passion to travel the world. Her home also has an array of streaming services - we watched just about every chick flick ever made.
If you work from home, we also highly recommend Karen’s office or the nearby Wynnum library - it has a gorgeous outdoor area. There are cafes and grocery stores nearby too so you can easily grab lunch and snacks. The Wynnum esplanade is also very close - stunning!
