About this house sitting position in Kilmore

Hi, we are Clair and Richard, empty nesters hoping to have a holiday in October.
We have a Labrador and 2 cats (all 8yrs old) that need feeding and loving while we are (COVID willing!), on a driving holiday. We are on 5 acres on the outskirts of a country town. Kilmore has 3 supermarkets, a pub, several great cafes and bakeries. Our neighbours are all on small acreages and are lovely. We have internet (ADSL2) and Foxtel available, and a home computer with a printer. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house, which is cozy and has floorboards to the main areas, as well as a 1 bedroom ‘flat’ attached to former stables in the yard. The house has a wood heater, 2 split systems and ceiling fans.
Our main ‘away’ dates are fixed, but you could come a day or 2 earlier if need be. If restrictions are in place, our holiday may be shortened but we are planning like it will be ok!
Our Lab, Winter, likes to be wherever you are, she loves a ball and a walk, and sleeps outside in her kennel, under our large covered deck area; the cats are inside only, and they all get along well. Litter trays and a daily ‘yard patrol’ are required. Winter also has a bed and a beanbag in the lounge area, with inside toys.
There is a ride on mower for the grass areas (might not need doing depending on the weather) and a garden bed plus some roses and trees that will need watering if it’s dry. The house has a large covered deck at the rear, which is accessed by 4 wooden steps. The front door, which we hardly use, has only one small step. There’s plenty of space for a caravan if needed. There is a bus stop about 1km away, which can take you to the vline station a few minutes from there.
