WELCOME TO OUR

House Owner: Karyn & Bruce

Bruce & I are new to house sitting & we looking for gentle, dog loving people
(non smokers) to care for our home and 3 well mannered obedient dogs. We need some who is able to be here most of the day and overnight. Someone or a couple with teenage child or older preferably a couple who are retired or not working. As we only have a 3 bedroom home. And one of these is used by the dogs of a night time.
Our dogs are used us being home most of the time as I am retired and Bruce is semi retired.
Our dogs are home dogs! They sleep & live in our very clean & tidy home. We hope you would be able to maintain the cleanliness of our home & yards whilst we are away,
Our dogs are 1 Weimaraner &
2Weimaraner Long Hair We do have another older dog as well who requires medication but we can kennel him if required at the Vets.
The dogs are fed their biscuits
twice a day. Jorja loves a game of throw the ball, whilst the other 2 love to chase each other. We also walk them around our 11 acre property on a lead. The land is quite steep to go down & back so I tend to stay on the flat close to the home as my knees are not very good.
Our gardens are easy care, mostly potted azaleas and Bromeliads to water, some fruit Trees, herbs and lavender as well.

TRANSPORT
#You will require a car as we live
6km out of town. Our Vet , if needed is just past the 1st petrol station heading into town.
There is a bus stop 3 kms down the road which goes to Laidley Township, Gatton, & Toowoomba . It also goes the other direction to Rosewood Train station and trains leave there to go to Ipswich & Brisbane
HOUSE
# Please maintain cleanliness of our home . Vacuum & wash floors with spray mop at least once a week
OUR FUR FAMILY
#To love & care for our dogs with
lots of pats and cuddles
#Feed our dogs twice a day
#Play a ball game with Jorja around
4 or 5 pm or later or whenever it pleases you
# Please clean their dog area downstairs, daily
GARDEN
#Water our gardens when necessary
POOL AREA
#Place chlorine tablet in pool
Ensure water level high enough in
pool above skimmer box
NATIVE BIRDS
# We have Magpies , Butcher Birds, Kookaburras who come for a feed.

IN GENERAL:
We are home bodies & our dogs are very loving and love being with us. They love people who are gentle & kind but maintain control.
Our dogs tend to sleep on their couches during the heat of the day, and are played with late in the afternoon in their exercise yards which are very large. Mum, Jorja absolutely loves the ball thrown for her to retrieve.
Brother & sister, Kayla & Chester play chase with each other and are comical to watch.
They are beautiful dogs, they know their routine and commands as they have had obedience training but can be a little naughty too sometimes!
We love them to bits and we hope you will too.
Happy Housesitting for us in our beautiful Colonial home with 4 sided verandahs where you can sit have a wine and cheese platter & watch the amazing sunsets we get.
