About this house sitting position in LAKE TYERS BEACH

Hey all, I am looking for someone to come and dog sit from 11th June Until 23rd June...(you can also come night before if needed so we can do a good handover before I head off)

SO, I live in Lake Tyers Beach in East Gippsland on the cliff overlooking the ocean- the view is next level amazing!! There are multiple surf spots off the cliff and track to the beach 100m from my back gate and you can head down the road to Red Bluff and also there is the whole lake to explore in kayaks/ SUP/ go fishing whatever. Great surf fishing off the beach in front of my shack too- good salmon in the channels.

I have 2 very special beach mutts to take care of. Jack
( the red heeler x) is 12 years old and cranky but a love monkey at heart and Jarrah (Kelpie Lab) is a nuts sweetiepie. Jack wont need to go to beach or for long walks as he has arthritis the dear old man and a walk around the block for a sniff will do but Jarrah loves a walk/ run/ play on the sand and loves a swim!! Both are great off lead. They are inside dogs and sleep inside. Jack takes a daily anti inflammatory pill and some other meds but you just pop it in his food. If Jarrah gets itchy she has meds to take too.

I am keen for one person (female preferred) to come, not young families etc as shack is small and Jack can be a jerk at times and I'd hate him to nip a kid. It's unlikely but you never know and I dont want that blah on my head.

Oh I also have indoor and outdoor plants that need watering etc.

I have a double bed for the sitter, wifi, TV, Netflix, washing machine, resident lyrebird, occasional echidna, local grumpy wombat, heaps of visiting birds with seed to feed them, car parking, bbq, boogie boards, outdoor shower, deck with the best view in Vic and linen/ towels etc. You'd just need to bring food, sleeping bag or doona and pillows and LOVE and genuine care for my doggos. And of course all your water gear- there is room to store a boat in my yard etc!!

***At a stretch, I am open to a couple...but can't have other pets here sorry...it stresses old Jacko out. Ideally I'd like someone who wants to hang out with my doggos (and change their water daily etc and stick to feeding times as much as possible etc) as they are used to having me working from home all day due to Covid (but they are ok for part days on their own etc so youn wont be stuck here!!) So, while my place is really great, I don't want someone who is just coming for the free accomodation and wont give my diggos attention. I have been stuffed over before and am a bit wary etc so we really will need to have a good chat (or 3) and I'd like references and police checks etc.

Message me if you want to chat and to arrange an 'interview' etc. If you have a van/ caravan to sleep in I am ok with that and have outdoor power available...but dogs will sleep inside the house.
