About this house sitting position in Lara

Hi! We are Jodie and Cat. We live in the quiet town of Lara just on the outskirts or Geelong and the surf coast. We both work full time and are lucky enough to split our time at the office and home so someone is almost always at home with our pets. We do like to head back to my home town in Newcastle at lease twice a year and we’d like to have more weekends away exploring new places. it’s hard to leave the animals behind and to find someone to care for them when we are away.
We have two dogs, Kylo (whippet) and Eleven (staghound x whippet), a cat Severus and a few fish.
Our dogs are very friendly however Eleven is a big girl who sometimes forgets her size! She can be a bit of a tornado but we have yet to find a person who doesn’t see her for the loving dog she is. She does suffer some separation anxiety if left alone for long periods of time but not too much. Both dogs are crate trained and sleep inside. Leaving them outside overnight is tough on our neighbours ears!
Severus is a quiet boy who loves a pat but only on his own terms. He isn’t a fan of Eleven as she is to big and excitable for him. He’ll spend most of his days sunning in the front yard and has his own space inside at night. Read more...
