About this house sitting position in Leongatha
Seeking expressions of interest for a house and pet sit a from 18th or 19th of Feb through to 7th of March.
We live in a heritage californian bungalow on the edge of town on a normal size block and plenty of room for secure parking (including a van if needed).
Our house is cozy, clean and comfortable and has a log heater, split system air conditioning in the living and main bedroom, a dishwasher, unlimited wifi and several streaming services, fully equipped laundry and pantry with basic supplies. We are conveniently located within walking distance of the township and within an hour to all Bass Coast and South Gippsland has to offer, including a beautiful wetland area just behind our home.
It’s a pretty easy gig, taking care of our furry family members, a 12 year old Labrador, 2 indoor cats (ages 9 and 2) and our dwarf lop rabbit (age 7).
Requirements are predominantly feeding, love and lots of pats, our lab is allowed inside when someone is home and sleeps inside at night and he would also love a walk around the wetlands, he is safe and secure to be outside when you are out. Our cats have access to a large outdoor enclosed garden, so there is no litter to change and our rabbit has an outdoor hutch for during the day, a run on the lawn for when the weather s sunny and sleeps in his inside cage at night, he also loves a snuggle on a warm lap. Our beautiful lab may be travelling with us, but we aren't sure just yet whether we can bring him with us on this trip, details to come in this regard.
Leongatha is a great base for anyone wanting to explore the Bass Coast and South Gippsland region, including Wilson’s Promontory National Park.
We are a smoke free home and leave things clean, neat and tidy when we leave and appreciate coming home to happy pets and finding our home clean and tidy as we left it.
