About this house sitting position in LEURA

I have a beautiful 10 year old greyhound called Josephine I need minded. At present I'm in the Blue Mtns but the house is on the market and there's a small possibility that by Sept Oct it will be sold. If that happened I'd be renting in the Inner West in Sydney (Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield) so I need someone who is flexible on location.

The Blue Mtns house is solar passive mountain desigin, 5 minutes drive (20 mins walk) from Leura Village. The house has all mod cons you need and is set in the bush. I definitely need someone who can drive (and preferably someone who has their own car that will safely fit a greyhound). My main priority is to find the right person for Josephine. She doesn't need a lot of exercise but she is very affectionate and used to 2 short walks pd & having company most of the time. The maximum I would want her left alone is about 4-5 hours pd as she has no access to the yard outside. The house has good internet/wireless for those who work from home. I'd also want the garden watered & will give priority to gardeners. I'm looking for someone who will treat the house like it was theirs as it's possible the real estate agent might need to do a viewing. Mature non smokers only thanks. I'm very private so I want someone who will respect this when staying at my house.

I definitely want to meet house sitters face to face before committing and I would prefer someone who is available for at least one short stay (dates tbc) before the Sept/Oct dates listed so that I am confident Josephine is in good hands. Read more...
